1. Description of Services

CCRA provides cross connection control and backflow management program services for water providers, water customers, and device testing inspectors, including online scheduling, survey tools, device tester and water custodian account portals, and appointment communications by email and text message.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

Certain features, such as scheduling and account portals, may require a confirmation code or login credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any code or credentials associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

This section applies if you opt in to receive text messages from the CCRA Water Inspection Program.

Program description

By checking “Text me appointment updates” (or a similar opt-in) and providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive automated text messages from CCRA related to backflow/water inspection appointment confirmations, reminders, and scheduling changes.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You will typically receive a small number of messages per inspection (for example, when an appointment is confirmed or changed).

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-out

You may cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After you reply STOP, we will send you a final confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by unchecking the text-message preference on your scheduling account page.

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us using the mailing address in Section 9.

Consent not required for service

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using CCRA’s inspection or scheduling services. You may decline SMS updates and still use email notifications or other means to receive appointment information.

Carriers

Supported carriers include major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No third-party marketing sharing

We do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in status with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Sites for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, portal, or system
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Sites or associated services
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form, survey, or scheduling tool

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Sites, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to CCRA and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our written permission.

6. Third-Party Links

The Sites may contain links to third-party websites or services not operated by CCRA. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site.

7. Disclaimers

The Sites and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. CCRA does not guarantee that the Sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that messages (including SMS or email notifications) will be delivered on time or at all.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCRA and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Sites or services, including delayed or undelivered appointment communications.
